By the way: The wedding venue Schloss Laxenburg was renovated and modernized in May 2020. From now on, festivities will take place on freshly oiled floors of the historic house. All halls and rooms have been equipped with new technology for speakers & WIFI as well as projectors. In addition to the event rooms, the kitchen area has also been modernized to make it easier for catering companies to work with modern equipment.

The cost of renting a room at Laxenburg Castle for a civil wedding ceremony starts in the Fireplace Room, suitable for up to 30 people (depending on the seating arrangement) from € 855 for up to 3 hours. The Oval Hall for up to 150 seated guests is available from € 2,016 (for up to 3 hours, from 30 guests).
The Event Residences offer combinations of the individual rooms or terrace/party lawn, e.g. for a civil wedding in the Marschall Room, followed by an aperitif on the terrace and the Oval Hall for the large banquet with a rental price from € 8,040 (price for the whole day) on Fridays/Saturdays. At off-peak times on a Thursday or Sunday, you can celebrate the whole day from € 7,260.
The room rental already includes furniture provided by Schloss Laxenburg. Of course, you are free to have your own furniture delivered. Also included is appropriate signage in the entrance area and a separate bridal room, for example for the bride and bridesmaids to dress. Parking for guests is available exclusively for the celebrating party.
The duration of the rental always refers to the period 08:00-03:00 for indoor rooms and to a maximum of 22:00 for outdoor rooms. The information is non-binding, current prices for 2024/2025 can be viewed on the website of Residenzen Niederösterreich.
Payment on account: A payment on account of 80% of the total amount is due no later than 30 days before the booked date.
Cancellation fees: From the signing of the contract up to 180 days before the event, a cancellation fee of 25% of the total amount is due, this rate increases to 100% from 89 days before the event.
Fireworks Laxenburg Castle
In 2020, classic wedding fireworks were banned in Laxenburg Palace Park. However, you don't have to miss out on an impressive wedding firework display; instead of rockets in the air, the show will simply take place a little closer to the ground. Andreas Szymonik, multiple winner of the Austrian Wedding Award for the best show act in pyrotechnics and fire shows, is an expert in fiery affairs.
