I have been photographing weddings in Vienna for over ten years. Civil ceremonies at the Old City Hall, the Palais Coburg, and the Ottakring Registry Office. Church ceremonies at St. Charles’s Church and St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Receptions at the Schreiberhaus, the Palais Liechtenstein, or Laxenburg Palace just outside Vienna.

Popular dates in Vienna—especially Saturdays from May through October—are often booked 12 to 18 months in advance. It’s realistic to make an inquiry a year before the wedding. Even for dates less than six months away, it’s still worth making an inquiry.
